A magical winter wonderland is very popular at this time of year, with white and silver the predominant colours, fake snow and winter foliage – add a lamppost and you’ve created Narnia. We love how Oasis Events conjured up the interior of an alpine chalet for one particular marquee event. Fur throws, benches and red gingham drapery combine to transport guests hundreds of miles, far beyond the Surrey hills! Add props such as ski paraphernalia, sleds and skates, wall-mounted deer heads, a wood burner and rustic oak barrels and the look is complete. Of course, the masterstroke has to be the marquee wall lining. In this case it was printed to take on the look of wooden panels; a brilliant way of pulling the entire theme together.
