Each roll of matting is approximately 12M x 1.8M (40′ x 6′)

Inside Outside Marquee Hire have worked with Action Medical Research for over 7 years by providing structures for their annual May Fair. The Fair is held at Loseley Park and this year alone looks to have raised over £18000.

Continued Investment In New Stock

In 2011, Inside Outside Marquees continued with its principle of keeping its hire fleet up to a high standard renewing and upgrading many items of stock. These included PVC tops, canvas walls, natural coconut matting, boarded floor, window walls and many more items.

Recent projects have seen Inside Outside continue to invest in new equipment, expanding the range of sizes that can be supplied – in all widths of marquees up to 20m clearspan, as well as the corresponding Integral Raised Boarded Flooring system. This allows even sloping gardens to host a marquee wedding, without the need for scaffolding.

Winter Weddings

Inside Outside Marquees has just had one of its busiest winter’s on record, supplying marquees for several weddings right across the Home Counties.

Weddings during the winter months seem to be on the increase, as couples look to book a date outside of the congested summer, and to create a very different atmosphere for their special day. With the weather being somewhat more predictable, and with the nights drawing in early, the focus is all on the interior of the marquee. It is still possible to create a unique feel to each marquee, using imaginative lighting, and/or the wide variety of colours of interior linings and carpets that Inside Outside are able to offer. It is also possible to make the most of the outside, up-lighting trees and buildings, and highlighting walkways with lanterns.

During the months of November to February, the weather can have extremes, with snow, high winds and heavy rain, but Inside Outside Marquees provide structures that are rated to withstand up to 80 mph winds. With an extensive range of marquees, and many years of expertise in building structures at challenging sites, it is possible to enclose the majority of gardens, providing waterproof connections to existing buildings, and marquees enclosing caterers, band changing, cloakroom and portable loo areas for the event to take place all undercover.

Traditional Canvas Pole Marquee

Inside Outside Marquees has always been a leading supplier of quality traditional canvas pole marquees, holding a large and varied stock. In the last two years, there has been a significant increase in the demand for this niche product. Whilst canvas marquees are manufactured in-house on an ongoing basis, the experienced team of full-time staff had to step up production, spending several weeks behind sewing machines, following a tried and trusted formula, to produce brand new stock in time for the wedding season. This type of marquee is regularly erected with and without linings for weddings in locations from Kent to Berkshire.

Lashings World XI Cricket Day

In August 2011 Inside Outside Marquees supplied a corporate marquee, furniture and picket fencing for the Lashings Cricket Day at Chessington Cricket Club.

They were asked to provide a pitch-side facility to host 250 corporate and celebrity guests, who could enjoy the fun day of cricket in style.
