Anniversary Dinner Party 19th July 2012
Dear Tina, This is just to say a big thank you to you and all you team for helping to make our party last Saturday such an enormous success.
The marquee was magnificent and just the right size for a party of 50, leaving enough room for mixing & mingling between the tables after dinner. Thank goodness we had the matting as the ground around the garden was so wet underfoot. We also appreciated the windowed panels, as it was still light when we sat down for dinner, but the wind and driving rain meant that we needed to be enclosed. The mock windows just gave us a sense of the garden outside preventing us feeling too claustrophobic and closed in.
The team who erected the marquee were terrific, making a massive job seem quite straightforward. And the team who dismantled it afterwards made it seem even easier. It all added to our enjoyment of the occasion to have everything organised in such a hassle free manor; tables & chairs and the electrics all arriving as they should.
Our blue & cream colour scheme was perfectly enhanced by your choice of the pale blue scalloping contrasting the cream lining; complementing the blue colouring picked out in the flowers elsewhere. The motif on this note was the basis of our table names & seating plan, so as you can see, you hit on the perfect colour scheme with your scalloping.

Action Medical Research May Fair 16th & 17th May 2012
Dear Frank, May I extend my gratitude once again for all your support leading up to and during the May Fair 2012. It was certainly a great experience and such a significant fundraising event for Action Medical Research. Wedding Reception 16th July 2011 – Chiddingstone Castle
Dear Tina; Thank you for your kind email. All had a magical day and we were overwhelmed with our guests telling us how much they enjoyed the day. The rain was heavy in the morning so the ceremony was not able to take place outside and it took place in the Great Hall. It was a lovely setting, and the harpist played beautifully during the service and during the wedding breakfast. The marquee was lovely and the siting and size was perfect. Plenty of space between tables to allow good service. The silver birch tree tops fixed to the poles looked wonderful with tree lights. The rain stopped in the afternoon just after the wedding ceremony so guests were able to move outside for drinks and we had some sunny periods which was nice. We were able to have some of the end sides of the marquee removed, but not as many as we had originally hoped. If only Friday’s weather had continued into Saturday, then all the sides might have been removed. However, those we removed allowed a view of the lake and lovely countryside, and the guests enjoyed the view. Please pass on to Iain our thanks and appreciation for all his help in the siting of the marquee. Dear Iain; I simply can’t thank you enough. You took the job on quite late, when I know you were already busy. You were so pleasant throughout, as were your staff. The work you did was very professional. I did appreciate the way you said ‘consider it done’, when I rang with a small snag on the day – I knew I didn’t have to worry about it and it was done, and the marquee was beautiful and fitted all the criteria we had, including the larger dance floor. The marquees looked beautiful and fitted perfectly with the theme of the day…….I particularly wanted to thank you for the time and effort you put in throughout the planning process, especially taking the time to answer my many questions and long e-mails. It really did make the whole planning side of things easier, and certainly ensured that everything was as it should be on the day. Just had to write and let you know how happy we were with everything on Saturday 26th September for the wedding. The marquee was absolutely stunning, the photographer said ‘Best marquee I have ever seen and the Best Country Wedding that I have ever photographed’. From the letters we have had since, some 50 or so, I don’t think he was wrong! You have an amazing crew of guys working for you, nothing is too much trouble even with all my changes so near to the day!! I cannot praise them enough, also all the electricians who managed to light the whole house, marquee and gardens to make it look like paradise (very romantic)! I cannot finish without mentioning Sue. I honestly do not know what I would have done without her, she shares my attention to detail so it was easy to trust her and my goodness it paid off. She worked tirelessly for me which took masses of pressure and stress away from me, everything she touched was just perfect in every way, for that I am immensley grateful. It was a thundering success and everyone worked exceedingly well. I must say, working with the combination of Cottage Caterers and yourself, one can sit back and have all the confidence in the world. Flower Show Centenary 29th August 2009
Just a note to thank you for all your help, advice(and patience!) in support of our Centenary Show this year. We really did wonder on the Friday if we were going to be flooded out but the only casualty on the day was the hot air balloon which could not operate due to high winds. Just wanted to let you know how delighted we all were with the marquee Inside-Outside produced for the wedding. We received many appreciative comments about the whole venue and the marquee in particular. Russell and his crew did a wonderful job in making it all look so beautiful – the furniture, trellis, roof drapes and disco starry sky drew a lot of favourable attention from our guests, even the loos got a mention! – and for putting it all together without a hitch – at least as far as we were concerned! Grateful thanks also to Sue for the hat ribbons, which worked a treat – every peg was used – and for providing great support during the set up. It was good of you both to sort out the unwanted furniture on the terrace and much appreciated that was all dealt with for us so smoothly. The dust has settled. Time to say ‘Thank you’ for your part in making the wedding day memorable. You couldn’t fix the weather but everything else went really well. Shaun and his team erecting the marquee just got on with it so professionally, overcame problems without a fuss and kept us informed about progress. The electricians were so helpful and listened carefully to our needs – their solution was great. The loos were lovely – lots of people commented on their poshness. We didn’t use the heater but I’m glad we had it. Thanks also for giving us the connection to replacement tablecloths – they arrived as promised and did the job. We would have been stuck without your help. All your advice leading up to the event was spot-on and your guidance was much appreciated. We should all like to thank you for the excellent service and hard work by Inside Outside for our wedding weekend. The whole area of marquees looked stunning and people came from across the water to ask the name of your company. The Chinese Hats (renamed Agincourt from Itchenor) saved the day as you will know that we had a series of weather fronts all week and the wind blew hard all weekend. Lee and his team worked tirelessly to make sure everyone remained dry and safe on the day and we were very relieved and grateful for all the extra care taken in planning and on site. We had one Niagara moment during the week with a gully between the Hats but luckily all was well. It was great fun to deal with your Company for twelve months and the Girls in the office were unfailingly helpful and courteous. The lighting was fantastic and the twinkling jetty made a perfect departure point. By dinner time the wind had dropped to treat our guests to a lovely sunset with flat calm on the water, all made more spectacular by the clever lighting. Summer Show Weekend 18th-19th July 2009
Many thanks again on behalf of the VPA Committee for the marquee hire on this weekend. All went very smoothly from the arrival of the guys with the tent, tables and chairs, to the end of our weekend activities on Sunday. It went up in the dry and I should think it was dry by the time they came to take it down: the Saturday was a great day, and even a short shower just at the end of the proceedings did not dampen spirits! Our night watchmen – thankfully – had no problems, and as I was not around for the dismantling on the Monday, I assume – hope – that went ok. Thank you all so much for making our ‘not-a-celebration’ celebration so successful. Everything worked wonderfully, even allowing for my excitingly contoured lawn which necessitated a few re-adjustments to the seating area. The people involved in setting-up, the electricians and the furniture men were all so efficient and pleasant. The furniture man was particularly kind: returning several times to replace marked furnishings and deliver the linen. We all had a blast. The tent was a source of wonder and amazement all round.
