Dance Floor Hire: Parquet Dance Floor

We hire parquet dance floor designed for use on firm level surfaces such as a carpeted floor in a hotel or a solid wooden floor in a marquee. We stock over 3oo panels of interlocking parquet dance floor panels complete with aluminium edgeing which both helps to keep the panels together and provides a ramped edge.

Our dance floor is made from high quality timber set in an aluminium frame with interlocking lugs to hold it together, then given several coats of a high traffic varnish coating which is then polished up to a shiny yet slip-resistent finish fit for wedding reception dances, ballroom dancing, disco dance or just a polished parquet floor for your room or marquee.

Parquet Dance Floor: Conditions for Usage

• Indoor Dance Floor Only  •   The floor is made of wood and cannot therefore get damp without damaging the panels, which will delaminate, ie the parquet tiles can come away from the plywood backing. This would not be covered by your damage waiver.
• Firm Level Surface  •   Although the panels have rigid aluminium struts for support over minor undulations, it will not stand uneven matting such as dips and troughs. If the floor is built up underneath, that's fine in the middle of the floor but at the edges it can leave a hazardous edge if it is packed up above ground level.
• Delivery is to Ground Floor [offices etc]  •   We include laying of the floor within the hire price, provided it is to ground floor and we have reasonable access for our lorry, ie within 25 metres.
• Excessive wear or dirt is chargeable  •   We expect people to dance on the floor, but excessive drinks spillages, mud, broken glass or grit scuffing may result in a cleaning or even resurfacing bill.
• Dry Hire or Collect and Return  •   We reserve the right to decline hiring on a collect and return basis without seeing the venue. However, supply only is a slightly cheaper option.
• Dance Floor and Edgeing - Keep it Safe.  •   Damage waiver does not indemnify against loss, including loss due to theft or burglary.
• Dance Floor Panel Sizes  •   Panels are 34" square and 34" x 17" half panels to form a brickwork pattern of panels. Don't forget; the edgeing adds 6" all the way round the dance floor area.
