With so many different events going on for New Years Eve it can be hard to decide what to do, so why not throw your own party?
Invite friends and family over for a night they won’t forget!
A marquee makes for a great venue; you have flexibility over the design, décor and food, while the heaters, boarded flooring, and wind & water proof linings create an enclosed space that you will be warm all night long. Make more space for guests or add a dance floor by using a marquee to create a house extension.
Our linings and carpets can be supplied in a range of colours to suit you. Please contact us if you would like to know more details about the different colours we offer.
Girly
If you want to have a girly get together, this is the colour palette for you. A peach carpet with a pink lining will compliment the neutral décor that could include lots of sparkles, gold and glitter. Have some sparklers and lots of cocktails for entertainment; serve cupcakes, champagne and pizza.
Black and White
The simple but elegant black, white and grey palette oozes glamour and sophistication. Opt for a black carpet with cream pleated lining, a mirrored dance floor would make a fabulous addition with lots of gold décor. Serve cocktails with a beautifully presented three-course meal and opt for a 1920’s theme, think Great Gatsby style with flapper girl dresses and navy blue suits.
Hollywood!
A James Bond style casino makes for a great party; opt for Hollywood glamour, martinis, canapés and put a movie on with popcorn to keep the young ones entertained. Blue makes a great atmospheric carpet; a star cloth ceiling will add glitz and glamour, while deep red roof drapes add sophistication.
70’s
Or maybe you prefer the 70’s vibes, with lots of patterns, denim, flares, big hair and peace signs. 70’s has become very much in fashion again this year, so why not embrace it! An orange carpet would compliment a cream flat lining with orange and green roof drapes. Serve pork pies, cheese & pineapple sticks, quiche, cheese balls and carrot cake.
80’s
The classic 80’s party is always a winner. A teal carpet with bright pink and yellow roof drapes will add a pop of colour. Serve up party rings, fruit salad, Vol au vents, scotch eggs and jelly & ice cream. With a dress code of neon, leg warms, tutus and Madonna-esque dark make up – all you will need are some rollerblades!
Winter wonderland
Use bright flowers to pop against the décor, decorate the table with pine cones and Christmas tree branches for a fresh, crisp look while using seasonal food such as clementines, cranberries, pears and almonds. The darker evenings will compliment lighting very nicely, use contemporary lanterns, string lights and filament bulbs for a rustic, wintery feel. Glitter makes a great addition to any theme, and use thick tree trunks as vases to decorate the tables with seasonal flowers.
