This beautiful Winter Marquee was created for a birthday party in mid December. Featuring carpeted, raised boarded flooring, glass doors and wall panels, clear roof panels with white sails, a mirrored dance floor, a mirrored bar and a thermostatically controlled heating system. We think you’ll agree, the result was stunning!

Company Christmas Party Marquee Video:

This stunning Christmas party marquee was built within the grounds of RHS Garden, Wisley. It featured raised and carpeted wooden flooring, glass windows along one side, a starcloth ceiling over a black and white dance floor, stage, DJ booth, two bars – including a semi-circular wooden bar, built in luxury toilets, chill out zones, a pagoda marquee reception space with cloakroom, chandeliers, a thermostatically controlled warm air heating system, locking UPVC doors with glass windows and a caterers extension marquee.

Is a marquee really suitable in autumn and winter?

Winter weddings and winter parties

Winter weddings are growing in popularity and a beautiful winter marquee can make the perfect venue for a unique, bespoke wedding reception. The autumn offers a variety of dazzling colours, shades and tones. The winter months offer a crisp, fresh backdrop, a blank canvas upon which to create a stunning reception space.

The best parties always take place after dark!

During the summer the sun can still be shining as late as 10pm; some guests may want to be outside, which is lovely, but not necessarily ideal for creating a party atmosphere. Not a problem with a winter marquee – with the sun setting early and the temperature dropping, your guests will want to be warm and snug inside!

For weddings, if you time it right, the subtle winter light will fade during the wedding breakfast with the sun setting during the speeches. Just in time for the party to start!

Whatever your event, venue lighting is always key, but especially during the winter months. Get it right and you’ll create a wonderful space in which your guests can party the night away.

Twinkling fairy lights and candles on tables create a magical and memorable setting. Uplighters, roof lights and external lighting can deliver spectacular effects. Heating for Christmas and Winter Marquees

We offer a subtle, thermostatically controlled, ‘indirect’ heating system to warm our Christmas and winter marquees. Stored outside of the marquee, our heater units are powered by kerosene or diesel. Slimline, floor level vents; subtly integrated into the Marquee design for an unobtrusive look and feel, are used to deliver heat to the marquee.

Our heater units are thermostatically controlled, making it very easy set and adjust the heating levels to ensure that they are just right for your event, all evening long. Additionally, our heater units double up as fans. So, if the evening turns out to be warmer than expected, you can simply switch from heat to fan in order to circulate air around your marquee venue.

Our marquee heaters are incredibly easy to use and the thermostat functions can be accessed and operated from inside the Marquee; so you won’t need to brave the elements to adjust the temperature settings! You can find out more about our marquee heaters here.

Inside Outside Complete Service

We make planning your winter and Christmas marquees effortless, leaving you free to concentrate on enjoying your party with your guests. Our Complete Service offers a seamless end-to-end solution; from your marquee, flooring, linings, lighting, star cloth, tables, chairs, catering, Christmas trees and decorations; DJ’s, music, heating, walkways, electricity generators and luxury loos; we will deliver a 5 star service that you can rely on. All you have to do is approve the plan and we’ll manage the rest.

Third party supplier coordination and management

In the run up to your event, we’ll coordinate all of your marquee related your third party suppliers; caterers, bar suppliers, bands, DJ’s, furniture suppliers, luxury toilet suppliers and so on, ensuring that they have everything that they need from us, and that they know what time they are expected to arrive. Plus, we’ll be there during the build and de-rig phases, managing and coordinating delivery and removal of all third party items.

We regularly work with a variety of different event planners and coordinators at our clients request. An event coordinator can make a huge difference to an event, taking the stress out of planning and management, both in the run up to and on the day of the event.

However, not everybody wants, needs or can afford to hire a full time event planner. Therefore, we work with an event coordination specialist to offer our own, simplified, but comprehensive Premium Level Event Co-ordination service. Allowing you to step back, relax and enjoy your wedding or event.

Our Premium Level Service Includes:

  • 6 weeks prior to your event: Initial face to face consultation with our event coordinator
  • 2 weeks before your event: A second face to face consultation with our event coordinator
  • Our event and wedding coordinator will attend your wedding/event rehearsal
  • Pre-event advice all the way up to and on the day of your event – with a guaranteed response within 24 hours
  • Liaison with all of your suppliers before the event to confirming arrival & delivery times etc.
  • Decorating the event space, placing of table name cards, flowers and favours etc.
  • On the day & evening of the event: Our coordinator will be with you from approximately 10am  until your event finishes
  • On the day management: Ensuring the day runs to time, amending the schedule if and when required
  • Managing any on the day emergencies that may occur
