I visited the Christmas Carousel and quite frankly found the place to be dank, dark and full of strange smells and sounds. Diamondesq productions had managed to recreate Victorian London to a tee. We arrived and found ourselves transported back to the east end of the 1800s. Every corner we turned we found a new experience and at the end of each alley a new surprise. Whether it be the tarot card reader to the time period bar staff and not to forget the period dressed Madam in the Loo, everywhere you looked made you feel like you were living in the 1880s. To top it off the evening had a grand show and one that would have been good enough to grace the Palladium of the time.
