Rollercoaster are a professional live band based in Surrey in the UK, specialising primarily in weddings, corporate and private functions, playing all the relevant genres of music, with the ability to throw in a Celtic twist (with our top fiddle players) wherever needed. Rollercoaster will work any crowd, connecting with all ages, and generating the perfect party atmosphere!

The key to the Rollercoaster sound lies in a band that have been making music together for the past 20 years. Alistair and Rob met in school, formed a band called Redwood, which Chris later joined on drums. Redwood landed a major record deal, toured the UK, released albums worldwide, national press, TV etc. Around 2002, Alistair and Chris formed Rollercoaster, and with various different line-ups, played weddings and functions throughout the UK over the following years. With the ability to add in quality fiddle players, keys, and female vocals, Rollercoaster offer a blend of pop / rock and Celtic tunes. With Rob joining on guitar in early 2010, the band was able to realise it’s full potential, giving the highest levels of professionalism and consistency, quality vocals, strong harmonies and energetic performance.

The band is currently playing 60+ high end weddings, functions and parties a year.  We’ve worked many a time alongside Inside Outside Marquees (as a client, and as a fellow supplier), and are happy to recommend them at any time.  Needless to say, the band is at it’s very best in a marquee – a custom made venue, for the perfect show.  On a technical side, the sound is fantastic, as there are no walls – hence no reflections.  What you hear is exactly what the band want you to hear – and not what is bouncing off the ceiling.
The band provide PA and lighting + DJ music in between sets – all inclusive.  We can also offer drinks reception music and background dinner music.  Please fill out the short form to request further information and we’ll contact you to discuss your individual needs.
