Working with any of our recommended suppliers is always a pleasure and that recently proved to be the case once again as we joined forces with Surrey based catering specialists Two Many Cooks, providing the marquee setting for a rather special Autumnal birthday celebration.
Here’s how it all went in the words of Two Many Cooks very own Emily Smitham
‘What a party!
From the delightful phone call with Iain, owner of Inside Outside Marquees I knew this was going to be a very special day. I made my way up to the house on a beautiful sunny August day to find out more..
The view at the house was simply breathtaking, peaceful and the perfect spot for a brilliant party! Having met with the gorgeous birthday girl it was plain to see the party was all about treating her wonderful family and friends to delicious food, fine wine and live music.
Two Many Cooks put together the perfect menu and with the marquee plans arranged – the scene was set.
Inside Outside Marquees provided a beautiful tent that enabled the guests to enjoy the gorgeous country view with see-through clear panels. Understated prettiness was achieved and the marquee was most certainly the focal point for this party!
Two Many Cooks has worked closely with Inside Outside Marquees for many years and know they are the best for creating a bespoke environment that works for your event. For this special day they created a wooden dance floor surrounded by an impressive carpet as well as clear marquee sides literally bringing the outside in!
The tables were dressed in heavy hessian style linen with a white runner and colourful hemstitched vintage napkins. Flowers were supplied from the wonderful Marion at The Kingfisher Farm Shop with ‘just picked out of the garden’ look.
We organised the tableplan with gorgeous escort cards for guests to pick up from the terrace outside on the way through to the marquee with stunning calligraphy from Richmond Calligraphy along with the handwritten menus and name cards for each table.
With the dream team in place all was set for a wonderful day, all we needed was for the sun to shine…and it did.’
