What are you doing for The Queens Jubilee weekend?

May 11, 2022

This year we’ll celebrate The Queens Jubilee, but it’s no ordinary Jubilee… Earlier this year, after an incredible 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom and the commonwealth, Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee!

As a result, events will be taking place across the nation throughout 2022. What’s more, we’ve been given an extended, four-day, UK bank holiday weekend from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June. Woo hoo!

Why not celebrate with a Queens Jubilee Garden Party?

Known as the platinum jubilee central weekend, the four days will be packed full of wonderful events and celebrations to commemorate The Queen’s 70 years of service.

Queens JubileeWhat better and more British way could there be than to celebrate with a garden party? Tea and cakes on the lawn, garden games, picnics, buffets and barbecues… sounds wonderful!

There’ll be plenty of television coverage of the occasion too. Why not set up a screen and join in the festivities with your nearest friends and family? You can find out more about the events by clicking here, or by taking a look at our summary below:

If you’re considering holding a garden party, then you might want to consider basing it around a marquee. Marquees make a perfect centrepiece for any outdoor celebration and can be scaled up or down to suit the size and length of any occasion.

Perfect for housing buffets, seating, bars, barbecues and more. Marquees also make great sun shelters and can also host large communal screens; ideal for watching televised coverage of the celebrations, pomp and ceremony!
